Premium Prices Wizard

This wizard, available from the left hand menu under My BaseMetals heading, enables you to perform the following functions :

• Select fields displayed in premium price tables (e.g. Bid, Ask, Last etc)
• Select the order the fields are displayed (e.g. Bid, Ask, Last or Last, Bid, Ask etc)
• Set the colours and background colours of both the column headings and the data itself.
• Set the font size and the actual font to use for both the column headings and the premium price data.
• Create your own Price Group , where you select the commodities you want to view prices for. A link to this will be added into your left hand menu (under User Prices).

Select Fields - Click on the Fields tab to select the fields you want displayed in your table of premium prices. Select from the drop down list the price group you wish to select the fields for. Use the >> and << to add and remove to and from the lists of Available and Selected Fields. Use the Up and Down buttons to change the order of the selected fields. When you are finished, click the Submit button to save your changes. Return to the BaseMetals.com website window and refresh your browser and select the premium price group in the left hand menu, that you just edited. You will see the changes you made.

Fonts & Colours - click this tab to change the background colour of the headers and data fields, the font, font-size and font colour for both the headders and the data fields. Again select from the drop down list the price group you wish to change the fonts and colours for. Click on the coloured squares and select a colour from the pop up window, or enter the RGB colour directly (e.g. FF0000 for RED). When you have finished click the Submit button to save your changes. Return to the BaseMetals.com website window and refresh your browser and select the premium price group in the left hand menu, that you just edited. You will see the changes you made.

Price Group - Click this tab to create your own group of prices. Premium Prices are displayed as groups of prices, with each group given its own unique identifying code. For example the LME 3M screen is Price Group "LME3M" and contains prices for all metals 3M and C-3M contracts. Maybe you just want to see a variety of Copper Contracts, for example Copper 3M and Cash, plus Euro and Sterling, Copper Cash Euro and Copper Cash Sterling and some Copper COMEX futures. You can do this by creating your own Price Group. Click the Price Group tab :

If you haven't created a price group before it will automatically display in "New" mode otherwise click the "New" button at the bottom of the screen to create a new price group.

Enter a description, which will be displayed in your My BaseMetals menu. If you want the prices to be launched as a popup window tick the "Open as Popup" option.

Select from the list of available instruments those that you are interested in. Use the >> and << to add and remove instruments to and from the available and selected lists. Use the Up and Down to change the order the instruments will be displayed.

When you are finished, click the Submit button to save your changes. You can then go to the Fields tab to select the fields to display for this price group, and go to the Fonts & Colours to set the colours and fonts for this price group.

When you are done, return to the BaseMetals.com window and refresh the browser. Your price group will appear in the left hand navigation menu under the "User Prices" menu option and will be named by the description you entered.

Click on that menu item (e.g. lme3mselect in the example shown left), and the instruments you selected will be displayed with the fields you selected in the order you selected and with the fonts and colours you selected.
