LME Ticker

The LME Ticker is accessed from the left hand menu under the Premium LME heading, then LME Ticker menu option.

It displays a live automatically updating time and sales view of LME contracts. It differs from the Time & Sales page in that the LME Ticker is capable of showing different contract types from more than one metal simultaneously.

The initial view is of the filters, to select which contracts to view.

As can be seen, you can filter by metal and select more than one metal. Then you must select either the Carries check box or at least one of the Broker, Floor or LME Select check boxes.

If you select the Carries check box you will see the Tom Next, Cash to 3M and other spread contracts for the chosen metal(s).

If you select the Broker check box you will see all outright broker quotes. If you select the Floor check box you will see quotes and trades for outright contracts from the floor. Selecting the LME Select check box you will see quotes and trades for outright contracts from LME Select only.

The start time and end time text boxes default to show the previous 30 minutes of quotes. To view data for different time periods change the times in those boxes accordingly. To view data for a different day, use the calendar control to select the day, or enter the date directly in the text boxes below the calendar and press the button.

To view live data, the calendar must be set to today’s date, and the LIVE data checkbox should be selected.

When you have set the filters click the Get Data>> link.
