LME Forwards

The LME Forwards control is accessed from the tab on the right hand side of the home page.

It displays a summary of the nearby forward spreads, a forward curve chart and the forward evaluations in USD and GBP. Click the icon to expand the forwards for one of the metals or plastics contracts.

The data is expanded to show the nearby spreads. Indicators of ‘b’ and ‘c’ are used to show whether the spread is in backwardation or contango. To view the evaluations, click the icon next to the period (Cash to 3M, 3M to 15M etc) to view evaluations for.

The Cash to 3M view is further sub divided by month. To view all the evening evaluations in one table use the Final Evening Evaluations Report, available from the LME Reports tab on the home page .

There are two icons next to the metal name on this control. Click the calculator icon to navigate to the Forwards Spread Calculator, and click the to navigate to the Forwards Curve page.
