As a Premium Subscriber you will have access to a wide range of prices and information. The standard service is limited by LME regulations which prevent free-access to live LME data. The Premium Services, however, enables you to receive live- real time LME prices and data which update as the market moves.



Below you will find a small selection of screen shots taken from the BaseMetals.com Premium Service .

In addition you can view LME Cash instruments in different currencies. For example Copper Cash Euro, Aluminium Cash Sterling, Nickel Cash Yen etc.

The Premium Service brings the base metals market straight to your computer. In addition to live prices there are windows showing the latest LME Forward prices from Cash to 27 months. In additional to the benchmark prices, Cash, T.N, Cash to 3’s, 3M, 15M and 27M, there is a simple facility to drill down into the database to see the price for any tradable LME date.


Premium Subscribers also have access to data that records how prices have moved throughout the day. A useful tool if you have been out of the office. The data shows how each metal has traded during the market sessions, the Pre-market, the Rings and Kerbs. The website also tracks the LME day automatically following each Ring as the day progresses.

In addition you can view all activity for a commodity for each ring and kerb session, in a handy popup window.

BaseMetal.com is designed to show the most important information first, such as the LME officials, but surrounding the data are various hyper link buttons that expand on the summary data. For instance a table may show LME Official Copper Prices, but by using the attached hyper-link buttons, the official data is expanded to show historic data.

The same can be seen for LME volumes, with a combination of estimated volumes for each session and the official end of day volumes as calculated by the London Clearing House (LCH)

LME Forwards can also be viewed in the same clickable tree structure, and allowing you to drill down through the months to find the forwards prices. You can also see the forward spreads from T/N to 15M, plus with our Forwards Spread calculator you can calculate the spread from Cash or 3M to any Forward date.

LME stocks is another area where there is a vast amount of data available, but the BaseMetals.com display makes the required data readily available. The top view of LME stocks shows the movement and totals for all the metals :

The second level of data shows the movement and total level of stocks in each warehouse and for each trading day. We have LME Warehouse Stock data going back to 1970



 

Premium subscribers have access to an extended range of static charts, with access to charts of all LME metals for Cash, 3M, Averages, Official Prices (Cash and 3M), LME Volumes, plus LME Cash currency crosses (e.g. Copper Cash Euro), plus COMEX Copper and Aluminium Futures if you sign up for our COMEX subscription.

Premium subscribers also have access to our advanced LIVE Interactive Charts which update automatically as the market moves. You are able to watch LIVE charts of FX, LME Cash, C-3M, 3M, 15M, 27 and LME Cash Crosses.
